On September 20, Microsoft released Cumulative Update 31 (KB5016884) for SQL Server 2017 for Windows & Linux platforms.
The CU affects both the SQL Server Engine as well as the Analysis Services.
Important: This cumulative Update, CU31, is the last cumulative update for Microsoft SQL Server 2017. SQL Server 2017 is now transitioned to extended support.
20 fixes with this new release and no known issue, to the time of this writing.

- SQL Server
- Product version: 14.0.3456.2, file version: 2017.140.3456.2
- Analysis Services
- Product version: 14.0.249.94, file version: 2017.140.249.94
