On July 13, Microsoft released Cumulative Update 30 (KB5013756) for SQL Server 2017 for Windows & Linux platforms.

The CU affects both the SQL Server Engine as well as the Analysis Services.

8 fixes with this new release and no known issue, to the time of this writing.

Below is the table with the new product versions after applying the latest CU:

  • SQL Server
    • Product version: 14.0.3451.2, file version: 2017.140.3451.2
  • Analysis Services
    • Product version: 14.0.249.90, file version: 2017.140.249.90
