3 days left before the event starts and I’m really excited to be part of it!

Although it has been quite a stressful period, work-wise as well as life-wise with all the COVID-19 going on, I have to admit that it is a great opportunity to be part in organizing something big like that.

So, stay tuned and don’t forget to book your seat, if not done already, and come join me in my session on Sunday, December 13 @ 1 pm (GMT+2), to learn about Azure architecture and things to consider when designing a database solution on Azure cloud!

My session on Sunday 13th @ 1 p.m. (GMT+2)

No new SQL Server CUs till the end of 2020

Reading Time: < 1 minute

SQL server team announced today that they will not be releasing any new cumulative update for SQL server products (SQL Server 2019, 2017, and 2016SP2) until the end of this year.

As written in this blog post, it’s been a tough year and is now a good time, around the holidays, for people to spend time with their families.

I personally find this move very kind and supportive and I wish for more companies to follow this paradigm.

So cheers to Microsoft, once again, and happy -early- Christmas holidays to everyone.
